2012 For 3 Sisters 3-day Team

For 3 Sisters is proud to sponsor the 3rd annual Team For 3 Sisters 3-day for the Cure walking team. Our team is comprised of amazing men and women who walk, crew, and support the Susan G. Komen 3-day event. We even have the distinct honor of having not one but TWO Youth Corp members on our team this year!
October 4 - 6 and October 11 - 13, 2013 our walkers will walk an incredible 60 miles over 3 days through out Philadelphia and Washington D.C., and their surrounding suburbs. Our crew members will spend a tiring 3 days keeping our walkers safe, and our very own Pink Fireman will spend 3 days supporting and motivating the team.
Our passionate team members spend most of the year training and fundraising in order to meet the physical and fundraising requirements for this event. It is with their passion and dedication that we continue to successfully raise awareness about breast cancer, as well as raise money vital for research, treatment and preventive programs for the community! Last year our team raised $21,171.00 towards those efforts; bringing our two year total to nearly $42,000.00!

Thank you to everyone who sent us mail in 2012! It truly means the world to us when we get mail at camp. Walking 60 miles in 3-days is no easy "feet" and receiving words of encouragement makes a huge difference! Stay tuned for the 2013 mailing address and deadline!
Fundraising is no easy job and each walker is required to raise $2300 just to participate! Youth Corps members are also required to raise money. With the help of wonderful community businesses, these sponsors not only make a difference in our ability to raise the needed money, but they are helping in the fight against breast cancer!
